This form of yoga called the Tibetan Five Rites.
This is a series of 5 exercises (a few are yoga poses) that Tibetan do every day to keep themselves healthy and energized. The 5 dynamic exercises include :
1. Whirling ( just stand with arms out the turn in circles clockwise - like sufi )
2. Leg raises ( lie down on back and lift head and straight legs up )
3. Camel pose ( kneel and do back bends several times )
4. Tabletop pose
5. Down dog, cobra and then up dog ( repeat )
This series takes about 15 minutes. It is the most effective of all short yoga exercise routines. It works on both physical body and the "energy body". Strong and healthy back, vitality and general well-being
Repeat each rite several times. Start with the number that is comfortable, and increase the number of repetitions until you do each rite 21 times. Make each rite a meditation on the present moment.
