Whether it is right or wrong is not for me to decide, but this certainly isn't the first in the history of man, and certainly won't be the last.
A father and daughter who have a baby girl together, and who had another child who died a few days after birth from a congenital heart disease, have been condemned by her mother and his ex-lover.
John Earnest Deaves and his daughter Jennifer Anne Deaves are at the centre of an incest scandal in South Australia over their seven-year relationship.
The pair have spoken publicly, asking for some respect and understanding.
But their relationship has been condemned by Ms Deaves' mother Joan, and by her father's second wife Dorothy, who also cast doubts on claims John and Jennifer Deaves had virtually no contact for 30 years before the relationship began.
The couple has been serving three-year good behaviour bonds since March this year, after pleading guilty to two counts of incest.
District Court sentencing judge Steven Millsteed said the first count of incest was based on an act of sexual intercourse which resulted in the birth of the couple's first child.
The second count of incest related to an act of sexual intercourse which resulted in the birth of their second child in May last year.
"The first child was born in 2001 but died a few days after birth due to a congenital heart disease," Judge Millsteed said.
John Deaves's first wife, Joan, said children deserved a better chance in life than one that originated from incest.
"I just think that the whole relationship is dreadful," Joan told the Seven Network.
"These incestual relationships produce children and the children have problems and it's not fair to kids."
In Malaysia, incest is now rampant and the laws are not sufficient in curbing this heinous crime.

Switzerland considers making incest legal
Incest could soon become legal in Switzerland as the Swiss government is considering repealing its laws on sexual relations between family members, according to a media report. The government is claiming that the law banning incest is "obsolete" and there have been only three such cases since 1984, the Telegraph reported.
"The upper house of the Swiss parliament has drafted a law decriminalising sex between consenting family members which must now be considered by the government," it said.
Switzerland, which recently held a referendum passing a draconian law that will boot out foreigners convicted of committing the smallest of crimes, however, insists that children within families will continue to be protected by laws governing abuse and paedophilia.
Daniel Vischer, a Green party MP, said he saw nothing wrong with two consenting adults having sex, even if they were related.
"Incest is a difficult moral question, but not one that is answered by penal law," he was quoted as saying.
Barbara Schmid Federer of The Christian People's Party of Switzerland, however, said the proposal from the upper house was "completely repugnant".
"I for one could not countenance painting out such a law from the statute books."
The Protestant People's Party is also opposed to decriminalising the offence which at present carries a maximum three year jail term.
A spokesman for the party said: "Murder is also quite rare in Switzerland but no one suggests that we remove that as an office from the statutes."

Genetic Sexual Attraction is a natural phenomenum that is worldwide. It affects consenting adults who meet a biological member for the first time after they have been separated when at least one was of a young age.
Education within society is the key to enable those who still link this with incest. A natural taboo is instilled in us when young which disgusts us and prevents incest with those who we have been reared with (Westermarck effect. Should this couple have been together when Jenny was young this taboo would have prevented this situation. GSA is more common than society chooses to acknowledge and should not be charged under the banner of incest.
