Men buy undies instead of flowers for Valentine's Day

SKINFLINT men are buying undies, not flowers, for Valentine’s Day as they’re cheaper and last longer.

Debenhams has revealed the price of love is around £25 – the average that recession-hit romeos are shelling out for matching bra and knickers, compared with £100 for champagne and roses.

The chain’s red and black Janet Reger range from £10.50 is proving popular along with racy briefs for £4.50. Debenhams spokeswoman Sharon Webb said
: Lingerie is for love on a budget.”

Pure indulgence comes from these red silk 'Aliza' briefs from Janet Reger. The bold colour and black finish is sexy yet simplistic, for an easy way to make yourself look and feel good.
